• Linux is 100% completely free. This means there are no initial costs to obtain the operating system, nor is there any charge for the application software that you need to run your business successfully.
• Despite popular believe, Linux is really user friendly. You can easily browse thousands of applications right from within your Linux Desktop, download, and install them with the click of a button. No purchase is necessary!
• Linux consumes less resources than Microsoft Windows does, allowing your processor and memory to operate with more efficiency.
• Using Linux provides many user-support bases. By utilizing the Internet, IRC (Internet Relay Chat), and Forums, often times you can receive help and troubleshooting fixes far faster than calling a Support Help desk. Also, all of these services are free.
• Linux also allows you to run Microsoft native Applications in the seldom event there isn't an application built natively for Linux.
• Using Linux also helps protect your infrastructure from viruses and worms, since the majority of these hassles are created for Windows-based users.

We want to save you money. Think about when you started up your company, or upgraded your network infrastructure? How many thousands of dollars did you invest for your Servers, Workstations, and Applications? These prices only increase with each upgrade that must be periodically performed. Add with that also comes the inconvenience and hassle recording product keys, serial numbers, and performing activation services. With our unique Linux Conversion Service we convert your existing Microsoft Windows infrastructure to a Linux one. We will meet with you and create a listing of all the applications and services that each of your employees needs to do their job duties effectively. Once we do this we will generate a listing of equivalent applications that will meet your needs and create a time-line for any training that may be required to minimize down employee down time.

The next step will be to sit down with you and review our proposed changes of software. After your approval, we will begin by installing the new workstation Identity, on our test station and clone it for as many stations that need to be converted. During this time we will be performing a backup of any critical documents and store them in a secure location. The conversion process only takes about twenty minutes per workstation, since all that needs to be done is to replace the hard drive, which not only saves valuable work time, but also saves your company money!

Most companies these days not only have employee workstations, but also a primary File Server. Please note, that Linux workstations can communicate with a Microsoft Windows server, however, we recommend considering converting your file server as well. To minimize down time, again we will review the server grade services your company requires and clone them on a new set of hard drives before we do the conversion. The total down time is only while we perform a last minute backup of your server and the time required to exchange the hard drives.

After your conversion process we take the time to not only provide group training for all of your employees, but also one-on-one training for specific situations. If you still require assistance, we are only a phone call away, you can also find help on our dedicated support Forum, and if configured, we can remotely hop on to a workstation to help guide you how to do what you're seeking. Don't forget there is also the free community resources of the Internet at your disposal: Forums and Internet Relay Chat are two excellent resources for fast help. For escalated support issues we offer a convenient annual support contract for extended 24 hour, 7 day a week support or our low cost standard support service at $25.00 per hour during normal business hours.

Upgrading couldn't be simpler, or more inexpensive! Once you've been converted to Linux, all future upgrades are free. Applications are also included for free! You don't even need to burn a DVD with the new Linux core image. Simply press the upgrade button (when indicated) and your workstation(s) and server(s) will be upgraded completely free. The entire process takes about an hour to do, and you can still continue to work while the upgrade is taking place.

Keeping within our company philosophy of saving you money, we don't believe in charging our customers an arm and a leg for our services either. Here is everything we charge for, which we believe is a fair and reasonable amount. Feel free to compare the costs associated with maintaining a Windows based infrastructure, at around $700 for Windows and Office, and that doesn't include Microsoft SQL Server, which can run at least $24,000!!

• $50.00 per workstation to be converted.
• $500.00 per server to be converted.
• $100.00 per hard drive. (The cost of a one Tera-byte hard drive is near this cost. Your costs may vary depending on your needs. In fact, you may purchase your own hard drives, or reuse existing hard drives to save money. Please note that if you choose this route, your conversion may take slightly longer.
• $70.00 per CrossOver Professional Installation. (This is a software package which allows you to easily run Windows Applications, in th event we can not natively run a required application, or utilizing a Virtual Box (using your current Windows Operating System) Note that this may not be necessary at all.
• Travel Expenses. Unfortunately, we can't post this amount since we have to calculate how much it costs to reach your company, as well as how many days will be needed at your facility for food and lodging. As a rough guide, we can tell you that we charge $0.50 per mile (beyond 100 miles outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, plus $100.00 per day for lodging and food.
